These managed to exceed my expectations and I will tell you why. *There's a guideline on the bags that prevent you from overfilling them. *The hand pump is amazing, at first I was ready to discard it in a drawer as another THING, but I tried it late one evening when a vacuum cleaner would have bothered the neighbours. Well, it was so easy to use and you can tell when you have done all you can. It also fits other brands of vacuum bags. *The material is sturdy. My cat attempted to scratch the bags without success 🙌🏾. It was just too smooth and firm for him to get his claws into. *I packed my clothing into the bags, put them in my suitcase and watched as I doubled and tripled my packing capacity. And was STILL in weight, so I was able to use smaller bags. *These are pillowcase shaped, so little trick. I estimated the folded clothes on a flat bag. Rolled and slid that into an open bag and slid the flat bag put. Instantly filled, smoothly packed clothes. *The seal didn't let in air the entire flight. I can highly recommend these. They are well worth the money for sure.

These vacuum style storage bags are great for anyone living with limited spare space for storage. Initially, I am using a couple of these very practicle bags for storing out of season clothes, underneath my bed. Just put your items in, seal the bag using the plastic zipper and then vacuum the air out of the bag -as you watch your bag of clothes etc shrink in front of your eyes. Finally, screw on the stopper and slide your bag(s) out of sight.

Great in principle. Really nice and compressed at first but in a few days the air gradually seeps in. Even after you’ve checked to ensure the bag is sealed. Two of the bags also seemed to have gaps at the seams as air could be heard entering them.

Well. Having seen these types of things being advertised for decades on home shopping channels and not really paying much attention. My good wife and I had a bash at the airing cupboard where things always appeared akin to a refuse clothing skip. After some thinning out, we were left with the usual quilts and pillows that always confound space and semblance of neatness. Not any longer...... I purchased a pack of these (5 in all) and after 30mins or so, all the above were flat and stacked neatly on the shelf. We can now actually see into the cupboard and remove and replace things properly. We purchased the XL size and the first photo has 4 down pillows. We managed to get two single quilts into one pouch - we even have curtains in one as well. The bags themselves resemble heavy duty freezer bags with the same type of seals. Once sealed, then you suck the air using your vacuum cleaner. There are a few tips. a) you have to make sure that when you reseal the bags that you really run your fingers hard along the seal a number of times to ensure a good seal. Each bag comes with a clip to do this but recommend fingers as well. b) make sure that when you start sucking with the vacuum that the material does not suck and stop the flow of air. I stupidly left the plastic on one pillow and not unsurprisingly it didn't work! c) You can actually take too much air out and the bags end up to be pretty frigid and therefore more difficult to store flat as the corners peel up. d) if you gradually sit on the bags then you find the air comes out better and more uniformly. I've now had the bags for a number of months in the cupboard and no sign of leakage In conclusion - very pleased with them - they are a godsend.
