I have been using these for storage for parts for my 3D printing projects and it works well. The shelving is all fabric so it does sag a bit if you put heavy stuff on it which was a little disappointing. But once you know its limitations it’s fine for what it is. It’s fairly easy to put together and you can have it in different orientations which is good. I even used some of the panels as front covers when we have people over so it looks tidy. Overall it’s fine for light stuff like toys etc, but you wouldn’t want to use it for books or DVDs etc as they would be to heavy for it.

I feel that the included listing photos are a little deciving for what you actually get. Comparing the clearly photoshopped images they advertise with the product you get will probably leave you quite disappointed. There is no wha you could store some of the items such as several books or plant pots in one cube. Once the box arives it's easy to assume this is anything other than a storage unit, insde the flat packed box are plastic squares with a wire frame. Each side and corner has to clip together with a plastic fastener. My daughter is currently using this to store small plush teddies. But I wouldnt trust it to hold anything heavier.

What I like about this storage solution, is this it is easily reconfigured and it requires little space when flat packed. Assembly takes a bit of time, but the process is straightforward. Each individual cube is stable. If build into a tall cupboard, it might be prone to toppling forward, as it it will be relatively lightweight. The maximum load for each cube is given as just 10kg. I find that concerning. The sides of the cubes are made of polypropylene. It is a safe plastic to be in contact with. However, it degrades in sunlight and is not suitable for being painted. Polypropylene is not good to be around in the event of a fire. For such reasons I would not regard the unit as a permanent cupboard.
