This file organiser is made of thickened cardboard and some PVC material. Its material is durable and long-lasting. It also comes with a lid so you can keep dust away from your belongings. This box is ideal for A4-sized files, and I was able to put a lot of them in there. I got the black one, and it had a brown handle. You can make this work, but for an archive box which is really what this is, even if you use it as a suspension file archive box, to work the lid has to come off and be put on easily and not move. This one isn't well enough made for you to just put it on easily as the corners don't fit the corners of the box well. The plastic strengthening arms that go on the side and also give a surface for the file dividers to slide along, are too hard to fit because they're just the same ones you use to bind together ten sheets of paper for a project. They're not custom plastic so you will need to use a flat surface to lever them a bit - not a sharp one obviously. Now, if you desperately need the function for a small number of suspended files, and you want to be able to take it off a large bookcase or shelf, use it and put it back and you also don't have a filing cabinet (which are heavy and fairly expensive and bulky) yes, this will work. Not fluidly, not amazingly well but it will work. If you were trying to store some files, have access for them for a specific project, or move them around a building for occasional use or just separate them out so you could prove they haven't brought you joy in six months so can clearly go, yes, this will do. But don't pay the extra just because it has a lid and you can use suspension files. It only comes with one paper file btw, so you need to add the cost of buying some if you don't have them already (which you likely don't since you'd otherwise buy them for a drawer or filing cabinet and nothing else).

I have a few similar organiser boxes around the house, but this one is the nicest and most versatile. Firstly, it's just nicely made. It feels sturdy, yet looks good so doesn't seem out of place in a home or office environment. But it's also been designed to allow it to be used with suspension files, which means the top edges are reinforced with plastic strips. I'm not using it for files, but that still helps to make the whole thing even stronger, which I like a lot. Only minor ding is the corners of the lid, which can be a little tight to get on. Obviously it's been made that way to help keep the lid a bit more secure, but for every day use it does take a moment to get the lid on straight. Overall though, I'm really happy with this box and will definitely order more.

This is a nice looking storage box for organising any important paperwork. It’s a really good size and fits plenty of A4 sized files/folders, it’s strong and sturdy, I’ve transferred all my ‘stuff’ from various boxes and drawers and they now have some semblance of order, I’m really pleased with it. I like the lid, it keeps the box looking neat, yes there’s a problem with fitting files that render the lid useless but I’m not storing those type of files so this didn’t affect me but it’s obviously a pretty major flaw. This box works exactly as I wanted it to, it’s made me gather all my important stuff together and get organised, very happy 😊

The media could not be loaded. It's just a canvas box which is just a notch better than a cardboard box. It's a bit more waterproof and durable but I don't think that justifies the extra expense. It is expensive for what it is so one star deducted for that. A second star deducted because the lid does not easily slip on. It is a bit awkward as it is tight and the walls of the lid are not completely rigid. It will take an extra second or two to secure it correctly and snugly in place. With suspension files in it the lid does not go back on properly which defeats the point of it if you plan to use it for that purpose. This file organiser box is very good value. The box is sturdy, well made. It folds up small, and folds in at the sides which I thought might be an issue, but the plastic runners slide onto the side and strengthen the sides, whilst also allowing the file dividers to slide up and down. It only comes with 1 suspension file, I assume so you can accurately check the size, but I would've preferred for it to come with at least a few. However, as is stands the box is great, the lid fits on nicely and even though I've only got 1, I can tell they will be stackable (2 or 3 high for safety I would guess). Highly recommended.

That being said, this review is NOT swayed by that, and (as always) contains only my real thoughts on the product; good and bad.] I requested the ‘Amazing Tour File Organiser Box with Lid, Suspension File Box with Plastic Slide, PVC Filing Boxes, A4’ 1 Pack, Black, for home office use. The file organiser box is as per the seller's description. When the organiser arrived, the sturdy interior base was concealed inside the lid. The base that is sewn to the sides is plastic and you need the sturdy base to keep the box rigid. The files have plenty of space to hang but if you want to put the lid on that’s not easy. Without hanging files this is a great lidded storage box but with them, the lid doesn’t work. For the price of £17.99, at the time of this review, this is a practical, attractive, nice quality storage box with a lid that fits. For hanging files, the lid doesn’t fit when it is full, sadly. 4 stars.
